Merino Possumsilk is a fabulous natural fibre from New Zealand. It is created from a blend of 55% ultra fine merino lambswool, 35% luxurious possum fur, and 10% pure Mulberry Silk.
Ultrafine Merino wool is very warm and soft, and not itchy. Possum fur is warmer than wool due to the hollow core of the fur, trapping air inside the fibre. It also doesn't cause an itch. Mulberry Silk is smooth and a hollow fibre, able to trap body heat within it. The mix gives strength, softness and incredible warmth. Warmer than wool!
