This Purple and White Short Ceremonial Korowai is perfect for graduations or other ceremonies where it provides the look of a korowai without the full length.

This korowai, or kahu huruhuru to be exact, is made by a Maori lady of Ngati Porou descent. 

It has a Purple, Black and White knitted taniko top, with white feathers at the top, and purple and black (with a sheen like tui feathers) feathers below. If you want different coloured feathers, let us know. You can choose different coloured feathers here.

The taniko has a patiki design, which spiritually means abundance, prosperity, and care of others.

This korowai measures approximately 1m wide, and 20cm (8') deep.  It is lined with black fabric.
